I have a slightly used Merc alt..off Stuarts old 2858 (1998??) 454 Mercury. Looks like new..$50 ??? Gene

That's a bargain. Maybe Bob would want it for a spare? He's got the same motor and belt setup.

Pulley is on it, still shiney black also. Stuart upgraded to a big Balmar or some such. I bought this and never used it. Just had to buy a new one for the Chris...the danged foot is different, old Prestolite, no way to mount the new Merc...crap !! Foiled again.

When I first saw your name on the post I thought maybe you were starting to part out my boat! Glad to see that is not the case.

But, here is the question: Do I need this? If so I'll take it.
