They got some cool toys.
Heck... If money were no object, I'd like to have one of these just to see if it worked. :D

Went to habor frieght yesterday to buy a 15/16 open end wrench that I ws going to make a shorty out of. Every where else wanted a around 20 bucks for 1 wrench.
Found a huge 14 piece set of off set bent, crooked what ever ya call them wrenchs for 19 bucks- so I bought it- never had to butcher the wrench, tried it today and I was able to grap hold of the sending unit on my transmission.
i also got a set of closed end wrench's- I think I have more tools on my boat then at home.

Well, I went in to HF this afternoon for a box of latex gloves so I don't get too dirty using my hands and working around my engines, etc... Anyway, bought the $3.00 box of gloves and a $45 infared temperature sensor... (it was on sale) hate when that happens...

You'll have fun with the sensor... Best gizmo I've bought there in a long time :)

I bought a 5000W Homelite when we bought this house... bet we haven't been out of power a half dozen hours since then (1999) :)
Pretty good guarantee for uninterupted power... buy a genny. :)

I bought a HF 5kw genny about 7 years ago. Used it about 20 minutes at the old house 7 years ago. Used it to flush the well at the new house 6 years ago before house was built. Used it about 15 minutes 3 years ago. This winter I had a GenTran panel put in for the heck of it. Our power is usually out rarely and never for long. Well Friday it went out at 11AM or so. Fired up genny and ran an extension cord into shop. Worked a small heater and lights long enough to pull a head of a Caravan. Took genny to house around 3:30 and fired up through GT panel. Gas fireplace with 110 fan. We had heat, frig, water, a few lights, tv (no cable)it was great ! Ran til 9:30 , used about 3 gallons of gas all day . I never winterize the genny, just put it away..gas was older than Ted. Might splurge and buy it a new spark plug though...

I know at least half the gas in mine is 7 years old :)

Well, I get an opportunity at least once a year now to run my gen due to power failure but it has been getting better over the years. I normally will either run it empty or take out that gas for the ride on mower and use it all up in late spring and refill late fall adding stabil.
This storm last month I got real frustrated not being able to start it only to find the low oil switch really works well... after adding oil, it started right up... My back is now better... hurt like heck for a while.... no more DUH's I hope...

I made the mistake of leaving my large pressure washer without a full tank of gas! The inside of the tank sweateded and rusted really bad!!! If you are going to leave the tank dry and it has a "metal" tank, spray some corrosion stop in it.

Mines got a 12 gallon plastic tank. It'll run 8 hours on a tank... and I don't think I've been through a full tank yet :)
We used it more to weld up Bob's boat shed than any other time. Great for running a welder when you don't want to mess with big cords.

yeah, mine is also plastic and holds about 5 gals and is good for around 8 hours run time... My pressure washer tank is also plastic...
