Last winter I did quite a bit of detaling to motors- had bought a can of volvo green and a quart of some bilge coat.
Well today I decided to repaint my transmissions- last week J & G tried to get me a can of Volvo green and for some reason could not get it- I tried WM and they have it for 14 bucks a can- so I said to them Kiss My arse. I carried that damn volvo green lid around with me to every store i went into and could not find a match. So today i decide an entire change of color. Bought a quart of rust oleum flat black for my engine mounts, a quart of rust oleum green and a couple cans of spray- I finished hand brushing both my transmissions and the motor mounts have been painted black on both motors on bilge center side. I then painted the turbos the green on both motors so making head way.
Nice thing now when I get done is touch up paint will be cheap.
Keeps me busy anyway, I got tired of chasing electrical gremlins.
I now have to work 7 days strait at 12 hours a day so this will give time for the paint to dry :)
I probably will not get back into this until mid febuary sometime, by then I will be re painting my bilge again to clean up my drippings, but should show good when completed.
i would like to take some pixs but still looking for my camera, cannot remember where I left it.
