I need to get my 9.9 running good. Think all it needs is a carb kit and cleaning. Does anyone have websites they recommend? It is an 82 Johnson.

Harbor Marine or Bayside. They have all the parts you'd ask for. they had everything I needed for my old 67 model Johnson 2HP. :)

ST...thanks for the Sea-Way link. I have been there twice during lunch as it is a quick run from seattle.

Glad that worked for you. They have been keeping me supplied with parts for my old Chrysler Marine engines. When I saw your question, I remembered seeing their ad for the old Johnsons & Evinrude OB's & knew that they would be at least one good source for you.

They are quick to respond via email which is nice. Show up and the parts are sitting in will call. Went over today to get a thermostat as when i popped the cover off mine there was no thermostat, no gasket and one of the water holes was plugged! They hooked me up. :)
