Hi guys,
I wasn't sure if I should post this under fishing or general, so I tried general!
I am hoping to do a lot of really good fishing (and catching!) this summer. And I am having a lot of issues with going slow enough on my regular I/O. I've tried buckets, and bags, and still no consistent luck! So I'm thinking I'm ready to take the next step and get a trolling motor.
I've been told, that for my boat, I'd be better off with a gas powered rather than electric. I'd like to be able to use this in both fresh and salt water. And with some of the currents we get up here in the Puget Sound, I'll need something that I can change the use in a variety of conditions.
The other consideration is that we are looking a buying a new boat next year, so I'd like to be able to take this with us and to be able to use on the next boat. We currently have a 23 foot maxum, next year's boat will probably be a 30 foot bayliner/ maxum/ not sure yet.
Any suggestions on a good trolling motor for my situation?
Thanks!! Look forward to your replies!
