Hello All,
I was wondering if you can share where is the best place to shrimp near Everett. I am planning to go out on Wednesday, March 10th and again on March 13th. I was told the west side of Camano Island is good. Anyone agree? Or should I go down towards Edmonds?
With gas the way it is, I don't want to go too far. Thanks for your help!

March 10 th?
:)
I've seen guys tearing up the area just outside the Mukilteo oil fuel pier. Maybe that's a good spot?
If you need a couple of extra traps I have two here you can use if you feel like stopping by and grabbing them. I think I even have some shrimp candy left over from last year.

I go to Browns bay in edmonds, but the Clinton area is good. off Possession point, between Hat Island and everett are also good. Watch the tide. Limited on Saturday with ease. 63 prawns in one pot! Cool Critters!

BK...did you stay in Edmonds friday night? Saw you go by the Everett guest dock while talking to Ken.
What depth is recommended for shrimp? Never done it but need too.

Yes, we got a rough ride to edmonds that day. We had a spot reserved on the dock. We were about 250-350 with 400 ft of lead line. Would have been fun but we lost our boat cat to a predator on friday. The boat will never be the same-we are crushed. You had to see him scramble up the flybridge steps on a plane. Total boatcat ! Although life will probably go on, its a dark day for me as he was my BEST friend.

Sorry to hear that! Ken was telling me about your cat as you went by.

Sorry BK - I know Kermit was part of the family and truly at home on the boat :(
We lost our pet ferret last year and my Admiral still misses him today! It is amazing how attached we get to the critters.

I believe all of us pet people are nuts if not a bit insane. My dogs fill such an
important place in my life it's impossible to imagine life without them. And our
old Annie cat has been with us almost 14 years now; a critical part of our sanity!!
My heart goes out to you in your loss.
Pete
