...our canvas is being installed either tomorrow or wednesday! Good thing now they are calling for rain this weekend. :( Anybody near Everett getting out for the 'Parade' from Everett to Mukilteo? Mukilteo YC has 24 boats and Dagmars YC 13 signed up (we are members of MYC).

Sean - how long have you been a member of MYC and how do you like the group?
I have been thinking of joining MYC!

Sent you a PM.

We are new members to the MYC but been to three meetings. Fun group at the meetings and an active cruising group.

I will be at Queen City Yacht Club with a borrowed Meridian 411 on the recip. dock for Edmonds Yacht Club all week stop by anyone and say hi.
Sunnydude, last year I got my all new canvas on Jaruba just in time for Opening Day, well the weather was great until Sunday going home. It rained like the dickens and since the thread had not been wet yet it leaked at all the seams. The trip home through the locks and up to Edmonds was one of the wettest times I have ever been on a boat! :D

The cigars were already long smoked by then! I'll try to get a dinghy to come out to see you logboomers on Friday. Ted :D :D :D

Where is the logboom positioned in Lake Washington for opening day? By Husky Stadium? Is it the same logboom used for Seafare?

Totally a different area, it is next to the stadium.

Got a call this morning at 7am from Leta. She has all canvas cut and stainless for the camper back but couldn't find her measurements for the bimini supports. So we will have all other canvas installed today and the bimini later as she is taking the old one back to see if it is the original so she can copy.

Well maybe not in time. Went by the boat last night to find the camper top was installed but no sides or back. Talked with Leta today and found that the 2850 they had the pattern for has the rails that are straight up and not angled back like ours. So they are off making a new pattern today. Will keep the top on just in case of rain. As for the bimini top, they couldn't find their measurements for the framework so they are taking my old one as a pattern. Oh well, no i can say it is a 'custom' canvas job. :)

Eager to see it. I've heard lots about her work and finally got to see one first hand a few weeks back. She does REALLY nice work.

The part that is done is really nice. Guess her daughter who is installing noticed something that needed stitching and they will be taking the top back to their shop next week to fix.

The Blue we went with makes the existing grey look cheap! :)
