COMMENTS: In 1986 this boat evolved from the original Contessa Command Bridge. The salon and flybridge were stretched a bit, making the cockpit shorter. The larger salon allowed the interior to be redesigned. The dinette was raised and a berth added underneath. Early 1986 boats had Volvo power, as did the earlier Contessas. Later boats switched to OMC. A fiberglass radar arch was added in 1987 (?). This is a great boat for its size. It has a lot of storage space and handles pretty well. In 1990 the boat was replaced by the 3058.
