My son called from Gitmo this AM (3:35AM to be exact). Said to watch the news today. He was not providing details but said he was involved with the news that will be reported today.

Would that be the suicide of 3 detainees? They decided to hang themselves with nooses made from bedsheets and clothing. Evidently they didn't like the chow, facilities, or rap music. :cry:

yeah, he's fine. He was one of the guys escorting an orange PJ'd detainee from the back. The whole suicide thing was a set up by the detainees anyway. Recall last week when they rioted... they ripped down the cameras and such. Now the guards are being questioned as to why they did not see this hanging... Go figure... takes three minutes to commit suicide by hanging if you don't break your neck inthe fall... The guards are severly undermanned now. (My son works 12 on and 12 off until the International Red Cross shows up every third week)... Yes, the terrorist have IRC there anytime they want...

then he is on escort/protection duty for those guys... and that is dependent on the IRC people.

It's really disgusting to think the IRC has free access to Gitmo, but where the hell are they when an American, Australian, Englishman or other national is kidnapped and beheaded by Muslim extremists? Kinda like the UN. When the heat is on, they're gone. It's certainly much easier for the IRC to get a free pass into Gitmo and cry about "torture" than to speak out about atrocities and beheading murders by Muslim extremists.

I was told Iraq women were really beautiful, I have only met one about 30 years ago ( she was )she was studying at the U of W, a good friend of ours had her as a date along for dinner with us. She was probably 20 years old . She had the most beautiful eyes and really black hair, along with the rest of the package.
Even after all these years she came to mind during the invasion. I wonder where she is? or how she thinks about all this even more so.

While I admit there are some beautiful women over there in the Middle East... percentage-wise... I'd keep my personal choice in other regions of the world. :)
