I was thinkin about this while on the boat so it should count as a boat type of thang....

Has anyone got a suggestion as to the cost and/or a good way to get Mexican auto Insurance (on a rental) in Puerto Vallarta? I am pretty sure that it would be available at the airport, but so are 10,000 time share opportunities and I think I might be able to find a better deal if I do it prior to leaving...or at least have a "comp price" Thanks

I'd call AAA and ask them... at least you'd have info on reputable agencies. If not a AAA member, find a buddy who is and ask them to check for you... good luck and stay away from the donkey shows... AND stay away from the water by drinking bottled beer or tequila ;) gotta rehydrate!

Fun town, been awhile since I have been there but really enjoyed it.
Make sure you go out and visit the marina area out of town , cannot remember the area for certain but we stayed at the Marriot which was a block or so away from it. Big megayachts in there, some eateries and a golf course nearby.

the main town was fun along with the old town area. Lots of shopping and good restaurants.
i am not sure if any country can match the Mexican resorts , they really know how to build them.
