Finally got around to installing the Raritan Tank Monitor that I bought off ebay last fall for $65 (WM sells for $265). We are leaving friday for 10 days and wanted to visibly show my daughter how much water she is wasting! :)

Mounting the sensors on the tanks wasn't too dificult. If you decide to try this, don't run finger along jagged edge of foil strips or else you will have blood everywhere like I did with only a Strawberry Shortcake bandaid available to stem the bleeding.

Mounted the display to the right of my AC panel at the lower helm. Discovered a panel inside the hanging closet that could be removed to allow for easier access in running the wires.

Have calibrated the water tank and it works nicely. The holding tank will wait to be calibrated until friday when i can fill it up with water and then drain before leaving.

Nice and clean way to tell how full your tanks are. This one will monitor 4 tanks if you have them. Will post some pics to my album later.

We really need to install one for the holding tank. Right now it's the red idiot light – goes something like this-
Admiral - "Why is it getting harder to pump the head down?"
2 seconds latter red light, we're full!

I installed Snake River Industries tank guages on holding and water. They work great, were easy to install and are definitely worthwhile to avoid the "oh sh_t, no sh_t we're full!!" Even the Admiral says there are real gizmos. :D

My admiral was up at the boat Monday cleaning up after my install and was very happy with how it turned out. We are thinking of adding an additional water tank in the bow and this system (just like snake river) will allow for two additional tanks. Much easier than lifting the hatch to see how much water or waste there is.
