Found the new BL models on line now... I like the 246 but I liked the older 289 better
Nice layout but will need to see it... Surprised I see a dozen pics of the outside hull and no look down pics or diagram of the layout. Hard to tell where some of the pics are in the boat... I guessed the fishing box is on the pax side? How about a full shot of the shower area too?

I don't care for the new Discovery 289 as shown... Maybe better in person...

Well Doug looks like you may have to stop by my store some day soon so I can clear up all your questions. The 289 is essencially the same boat as before with some new additions or options. If you keep hitting the arrow button by the pictures it does show a couple interior shots, but the BOC also has a lot of interior shots on someone's post.
The walk through bow rail is exactly that, it curves down at the front so that you could go through the front of the boat when beached without stepping over or under the rail. :D

OK, what happen? Went in yesterday to price options on the Discovery 246 and today, not only can you NOT price the options, but the photo gallery is also GONE???

Ted, do you know if this boat will be at the in water boat show in Sept?

I heard that from others about the BL webpage, go figure?! If we get a boat by then I'm sure it will be at the show, I'll keep you in touch about the arrival. :D

If Ted's as sharp as I think he is... I suspect he'll want tobe close to a 246 when Doug walks by. Sounds like a match made in heaven. Especially if he's got a good looking trailer waiting fora fresh new boat. :)

Hey, Ted, tell corporate thanks for putting the photos back on line... but ask them to put the interior pics back in... They deleted them... If they intend to sell the 246, I think most people would like to see the interior as well as the 15 shots of the outside of the boat... not one of which shows the transom from inside the cockpit... the side wall tackle box and the engine pic are gone as well... duh!!!!

Still missing some of the earlier pics, but they added some new ones. Not sure who thought up the whole "discovery" video series, but I want to see more boat and ALOT less of the two guys vacationing.

Got my boat show tickets in the mail today. We'll be looking for a tour of the 246 on Sat. as well, Ted.
