Not much rain down here yet just a lot of wind. Warm, 67. Does this mean winter is over and spring is here? Hope so, the boat has been winterized for two weeks now. Surely that has been a long enough break.

It's been raining hard today here in Wenatchee. I just went to Costco and noted that only 1 person going in/out of the store had an umbrella. I bet if I went into Costco at Kirkland or Tukwila, half of the folks would have umbrellas!!!!

Yep it's warmer - but you might need an Ark to enjoy here.
A client of mine finally bought flood insurance 31 days ago. (doesn’t have a Mortgage so it wasn’t required) - First call I got this morning - "I owe you big time, the water is less then 2 feet from my house"

The only people that I know in the NW that would use umbrellas are Cal transplants. Nothing against that. They drive my farm and house prices up and make it sooner that I can bail, buy a bigger boat and retire to a quieter part of the state.

My freakin roof is leaking like a wet duck on exlax... will have to get a roofer in to find the problem last time it was the skylights (which were replaced for free this spring and did not leak)... now who knows... Was up there this evening and don;'t see any wetness around the inside of the panes of glass and no cracks that I can see in the tile... Time for a rip out of my roof in this one section. Been a pain for years anyway...

Rains have kept me home most of the day, had to go help the mom in law this moring and got stuck in a nasty traffic jam from a horrific looking wreck on HWY 18. The wreck was actually in the west bound lanes but some of the truck ended up in east bound lanes over the jersey barrier. The vehical was upside down and not looking good.
I have been driving a loaner that does not have all wheel drive it is a Chrysler 300. It just is not comfortable to me and it is lite in the back end, or else I am heavy on the pedal. But anyway I miss my X5. Never thought I would admit to that, but that all wheel drive is great in this kinda crap weather.
Sorry to hear about the leak Doug, My boss called and the new roof he had installed in July finally got tested- It leaked like a sive. Said his hallway is full of water.

Doug--Sorry to hear about your leaky roof. I had some neighbors that had a blue tarp on their roof for an entire winter. Tell Leah a nice, new blue tarp would start a new trend in elegant roofing. After a year the blue will start to fad and it's real simple and cheap to restore to the original bright blue. :D
