The Apple Cup is Saturday in Pullman. I think the Cougs will win if they play well. They have homefield advantage and have a better QB than the dawgs. The Cougs have a bunch of very good first string receivers, however they are banged up and many not play. The dawgs can win if they play well and the Cougs are flat.
Anyone else have thoughts about this game?

Well, my friends, lemme tell ya sumpin'.
It's gonna be a route. I mean rout. Yeah, that's it...that's the ticket...
Cougs are gonna maul the Hapless Huskies big time. Defense is gonna land on the dawgs back sink it's claws into the doggies ribs and clamp the strong jaws of a fighter on the ol' doggies neck and then ride the poor boys into the ground. That's gonna happen play after play after play.
On offense the Cougs are gonna run right straight at the poor ol' pooch. They're gonna run right over the poochies. When they're not running over the dawgs they gonna give a quick, cat-like feint, make a cut and go around 'em leaving 'em in the dust. This is gonna happen touchdown after touchdown after touchdown.
Mark my words, boys. It'll be the Cougs by 3 touchdowns.
My recommendation to the dawggies? Don't even leave the doghouse. Stay off the bus. Just forfeit. Go crawl in the doggiehouse with your lil hoochie and fuggedaboutit. Save your time and energy.
So, do I have thoughts about this game? Uhh, yeah, I do.
'Nuff said.

But still, there will be Apple cup partys.
I just booked a nite at Dockstreet Marina in Tacoma and Dock master says a big group is comin down from Elliot Bay marina to party at the Blue Martini Bar.
Not us, we are going to have dinner , India cuisine ( my daughter's choice) and then off to the Pantages to listen to Joan Baez.
Then back to the boat for a night cap.
Looking forward to another SUNBREAK, I can only hope.

Brad....Joan Baez??....Joan Baez??....say it ain't so, man..."Old Happy Day" and "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down"?...you're too young to remember that stuff, buddy. Besides, I figured you for an old Jimi Hendrix fan, or maybe Jim Morrison....but Joan Baez? Tell me it's the Missus that is dragging you along. I mean, damn, man, you might as well tell me you're a John Denver fan too. Man up, dude, tell 'er to take her sister or something and c'mon down and tip some brewskis with the boys and watch the Cougs pounce on the Dawgs with us!

I whine every time she does drag me to her shows but she actually plays better music then those old tunes you mentioned in concert, plus ya have never heard such a beautiful voice until you have heard hers. She must be as old as Mick by now ;)
I love Rock but Folk is what I have always truly enjoyed the most.

I like her song, "The night they tore ol' Dixie down". Nice voice, but wasn't she one of Hanoi Jane's teammates? Knowing what she said and did while my cousin was in the Hanoi Hilton and other facilities for 7.5 yrs kinda made me have a permanent distaste toward her. I wouldn't go to one of her concerts if it was free.
Brad, hope you and your Missus enjoy her concert.

She is over 65 and was one of those anti-war girls of Hanoi fame...
She does sing well but so does Dylan and he's anti-war too...
But like Randy, I wouldn't pay to hear her.

Guys, don't get your feathers all ruffled over Joan.
Yup, plenty of activists to go around. If ya listen to folk , many of the artist are anti war. Ya ever hear happy folk war songs
