It does not appear, on first glance, that there was any damage to our boats. Now at my house thats different. Table with umbrella is now garbage, roof and yard is covered with fir branches. I don't know about you guys, but I'm already tired of this winter.
It's weird that we did not get much wind at all ?????!!!

Ted what do you mean no digital camaras? you work at a boat dealership?
Shouldn't you have at least one so you can email pictures of a boat to people? Or pictures of people on a boat having fun?

If everyone bought a boat, you wouldn't need the camera... they could look at their own boat instead of yours... ;)
BTW, 82 in Hawaii all next week... :P
Won't be thinking of you guys at all, at least not while on the beach...

Will be in HI from 16-27 Dec... Reuben is in Pearl? We took her from Pearl to the Big Island three years ago. The skipper was a friend of mine (now gone) so he offered a ride for Lea and me to go with them. Could not refuse that trip! Stayed two days and rode her back! What a life... The Hale Koa (military hotel) even held our room and did not charge us for the two days we were gone... Good deal!!!!
Plan to stay on Oahu all ten days.
Jan we head to Florida for a week... I dislike this weather...

Doug,
Have a great time in Hawaii! (And Florida too).
I'm going to Cancun in February to escape the weather. I've never been there so I'm excited to go.
Say hi to Lea!
Just had a 100 footer come down in the back yard. Missed everything except some unlucky Rhodi's. Tomorrow it is expected to get worse.
YIKES !!!

Glad it missed the house, cars and YOU!
We lost power at work twice today. Had to go to the boat and pick up my trusty Honda generator. What a hassle
At least my neighbors didn't complain about the noise! ;)
Tony,
Maybe we can get into a generator noise discussion ? I have a Honda 1000 and a Generac 5250 (Honda engine). I really think the 1000 is more quiet ;) ;)
Did fuel em both up for tomorrow.
Josh Brown might be able to kick a 70 yarder tomorrow night !

Sorry to hear your troubles with the weather. Over here it's abnormal for the time ot the year. Flowers who according to our gardener should only bloom in August do it now.We have some rain and wind but very high temps for the time of the year. Warmest month of november ever!. . If the weather stays the same this could be indeed an early opening of the season. :D
Mike which camera did you buy from Canon? Althoug not ment to compare but my new cellphone has a built in camera with 3.2 million pixels. makes rather nice pictures and video for such a small thing!.

Well it looks like the I need to get a generator bigger than my trusty Honda 650 and a gas powered chain saw.
Is the EU2000 big enough?

Is the EU2000 big enough?
Relative question, depends on what you want to run.
My business was out of power for 50 hours and the Honda 2K ran continuously. Powered a light source, phones, cellphone phone chargers, space heater, calculator among other things. Just enough to keep an eye on the place and dispatch our trucks.
I was happy with it. I sure lost a load of money, though. Man, this outage is gonna hurt.

To do the important things such as refer, freezer, a couple lites and maybe a coffee maker, it is plenty. But you try to add heat to it and your in trouble. All depends what total power items you need. My 1000 did a good job of a refer, a freezer, and one lite.

I know that heat would be a necessity.

Burr, the Honda website has a great bit of info on what wattages certain items use and a lot of compare to info. I would check it out before you buy one.

Ted- I hope they get you soon. The next few nights are expected to stay cold.
I saw on the news last night that Woodinville was one of the hardest hit in the area. Wood/Duval road looked like a war zone!

Ted, just tell the boss you are taking one of the boats for a demo trip to Vancouver or something like that. Stock it up with some food and come back Thursday.
