Ofcourse I remember. But (no pun intended) I also remember who supported him in his war against Iran. Now as the cold war is over and maybe in history the cold war will be seen as one of the worst dramtic political events of the former century after WWI and WWII. If you look outside into the World what a political and human mess we are living in if we don't close our eyes. Why are'n't able to let the UN work properly as it should? Mike, I think we all with our common sense, with only a little bit knowledge of history, we will discover that's always because of Nationalism religion and protecting finanical interets in a very wide diversity of ways. Never we look at our selves and think was it right and fair what we did? Daily we have heard it in the political campaigns: For the benifit of the country!
I always wonder why a counjtry benefits if the poor get poorer and the rich get richer? Last week I hear some financial experts talking about how it 's possible that some countries who should be among the richests in the world are among the poorest. I think if we can't create a world were people don't die in the streets and don't have the minimum income to get a decent life, because we don't open our markets to them, the western world will face treatts from those countries. Or we have to face illigal immigration or terror dipped in religious sauce.
