For all you liberals who think we are abusing terrorists at GITMO...
As many of you are aware, my son is stationed at GITMO and was due to rotate out the first week of this month after a one year tour and then to Tinker air base. The Navy made an offer he likes. Extend 5 months and get the orders he wants. He asked to extend another 5 months so that he could get overseas orders (Okinawa). That was granted and he is now off the "block" watching prisoners and now is escorting repatriated prisoners back to the middle east and abroad (Europe, etc). Here is the rub... Not a single, soon to be freed, prisoner wants to leave GITMO. They like the three to four meals a day, the quality of life is much better and their treatment has been nothing but top notch. They know they are going back to a bleak future... Go figure...
