This week I got a hair-brain idea to try making a pizza in my boat's new BBQ. I figure on our trip to Nanaimo this summer there may be an evening on the hook when a fresh baked pizza would be good for dinner. Sooo, I picked up a box pizza mix, some Canadian bacon and a round 12" pizza pan. The pan almost fits perfectly inside the BBQ. I mixed up the pizza, applied Canuck bacon, pineapple, olives and additional cheese, baked for 15 min on low heat and ended up with a very nice pizza. I'm thinkin this summer I'll make a Dungeness crab pizza. Fresh crab, topped with a some good cheese would be a real delight. I asked the Admiral if she'd bake a pie in the BBQ this summer and I got the "yeah, right" look.

We've cooked Pizza in ours, store bought though. English muffins with crab should work also.

How about some sea or bay scallops, or maybe a few stuffed U10/U12 shrimp ?
Would that be possible ....
Most anything's possible in a Magma. They work great .

We make pizza all the time on our Magma. The trick that we found is to use a pan called the "air bake"
Works for all of our baking needs.
