New Software

OK...

We're now running on a new software package.

In order to keep the two databases sync'd up for the transition to the new software I had to do this pretty swiftly.

Sorry for inconvenience this causes anyone, but I wanted to get all the threads over here and import the userbase as quickly as possible.

Shoot me an email if you're having any problems getting on or getting something to work. I was more concerned with the mechanics of it today than appearances, but will get the styles settled and colors picked out once everything is running normal.

Too funny... I know what's causing that. I filled in some of the word sensors and it caught the *** in p*** the hat.

Don't try to p*** a gl*** of milk around here either... :)

I'll put that on my to-do list :)

Well, I guess if this ol' dog can figure it out it must be a fairly easy transition. Mike, I hope this helps with your management of the site. I check IBNW and BOC frequently and they are the only boating sites that I keep tabs on a regular basis. Should make it easier for me. When will the old site be shut down? If this free's up some of your time, could I get some boat graphics this season??

HA! That's a good one Bryan. I'll get ya a quote this evening. Mostly work keeping me behind these days. I made a post on the old site that should have imported over. Lemme find that for ya.

I'll probably shut it down pretty quickly. I replicated the entire old site's database over and all 18,000 posts made it OK, and I think everyone's user accounts are OK.

Should be fine. I'm also running a mirror of thise site now as well so if anything corrupts we'll have redundancy. I really do like this software better. Much more as far as features go.

Off topic- But hows the SPAD twin comming along? The 10th is comming up quick and I still have to stop by Tim's to finish the 26.

Not much progress. Motors are still sitting there on the shelf. :)

Wanna get some flying in soon, but need to make some time.
