View Full Version : Photo Albums
OK... it's time to dust off those pictures and try to remember where you put all those cool pictures of our boats, our get-togethers and whatever else you suspect would be interesting.
I'm installed the Coppermine Image Gallery software on the IBoatNW.com domain and we can all now make use of it.
Here it is: http://www.iboatnw.com/albums/index.php
It is set up to allow external links and each of us should be able to upload files and create albums in the categories that are set up. I'll ba adding a link from the homepage this evening, but wanted to see how well it worked in the meantime.
(Check out the e-cards... those should be cool around Christmas time) :)
NOTE: You WILL have to register to post pictures and such. Just re-use the same as you did in IBoatNW Forums. The two pieces of software don't share a user base. (sorry)

It's asking for a user name and password. I tried my normal IBoatNW but it did not work... Do we need to re-register?
Yeah... you'll have to register with the album. Just use you IBoatNW username:pass and I'll upgrade folks as they make it in. They are two different programs entirely. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it'll work out once you register.

Yikes Mike you have the data on my boat all wrong. It's really a 1980 2350. Now can you put my current pic in my new photo file of her running strong. Thanks, Ted :D

I think I need to do some file re-sizing it only let me upload 3 pictures.
Then i got this message:
Disk quota exceeded
You have a space quota of 1024K, your files currently use 794K, adding this file would make you exceed your quota.

Well, here it is the next day and no log in possible. Is there a minimum length on the password maybe? I have registered a couple of times under different names and no go (aweigh)....

OK, got in but don't know how to upload? No button that lets me in to upload???
I think I may have gotten the right button checked now... I'm trying to have it set up so people can create album (public ones like the different ones I made) and then upload to them.
Try it now Doug. I removed the email registration thing... (that was a pain) :)

Well, I still cannot upload anything, no matter what size, etc. I get a bunch of java script above where I would upload the pix and go to the bottom of the page and tried uploading via the http and off the computer... Not sure what I am doing wrong. I have tried every kind of upload possible but still no joy in mudville...
Yeah... I looked at it this morning and started getting the same error... I'm not sure whats going on there. Spent the day at Ikea and assembling Swedish jigsaw puzzles. That's sure a neat store down there.
Anyhow... will look at again tomorrow sometime and see what's happened... :?

OK Doug;
Try it now. We had a directory that had the permissions dorked up. I think you should be able to get it working now.
