I think its time for those threads from News Bot and Bargin Bot to go. Can these be filtered out?
I like using the "New Posts" link at the top - it helps me see everything that's new since my last visit. Easy and efficient. But when there's 5 pages of News and Craiglistings, I move on to other things.

Simple enough... You won't see them anymore.

I am still seeing them on the 'new posts'. Just added them to my ignore list.

I added them to Ted's ignore list so he'd get over it.
They're news post for gosh sakes... how troublesome are those to you guys?
If they bug you... put those on your ignore list... heck, put me on there too. :)

Mike...if I added them to my ignore list why do they still show up?
Thanks for changing the site over. Do like this layout better especially with the notifications on the replies to subscribed threads. :)

Adding them to your ignore list does not magically delete them. The post will still appear, you just won't be able (or need to) read any of them.
I've about reached a belly full of this to be honest. You guys are welcome to make the best of the site. If it's too difficult to navigate or sift through them.. I'm at a loss to suggest your next course...
This extra work was (is) designed to make things a little better, a little easier, a little more fun for all of us.
Just for the records sake I'd also like to add that my personal expenses have far exceeded (probably tenfold) any contributions (yes... even with ted's deep pockets) made so far.
This package (vBulletin 3.6.7) is VERY popular in the world and is very feature-ladden. I hope that folks can be patient and adjust as it spools up, rather than bicker about the minor inconveniences.

If I may make a suggestion ...
The feed could actually be a very cool feature. Problem is, for me at least, that it clutters up areas where other stuff may be posted by members, which, if you choose to ignore the feed postings, will probably mean you miss out on the other stuff also since the feed topics are soooo many.
So, instead of posting feed ads to classifieds (etc) why not post them to a new forum called (for example) "Feed classifieds". That would mean they are really easy to ignore if you wish and also member postings would not go missing in between hundreds of feed posts.
Mmm?
