Just my two cent question: Why do we need to start having giant custom icons? Sorry, but I envision this as turning into an obnoxious mess.

we're not adding any icons...we have a pirate guy already....but I would like to have a smiley pirate flag....I fly a skull and crossbones from my antenna in respect for the sub sailors that sailed in the old days that were concidered unsavory by the admiralty.....the sailed in subs that today would be concidered scary by todays standards.......even the German sailors in world war ll and cross bones when returning to port.......

We're not getting any giant custom icons. I was talking about a burgee banner with that logo for Steve's boat. They sell them as blanks that you can apply vinyl to.

Slow down on all the graphics buddy. I see a trend developing here. This site is about boating and friends here in the Northwest. We enjoy your joinging us and adding your comments, but not everything requires a cartoon or cut-n-paste graphic from somewhere on the internet.

While a graphic or emoticon here and there helps to keep a post from being misunderstood, or lighten the mood a bit, they can be overused.
