Finally got home from teaching the urchins at Whidbey... Checked on Go Aweigh To and the master mechanic pulled the 5.7 and put in two holes in the bottom (suppose to do that for the raw water cooling of the fuel prior to injection, etc.) Now that is done, they should be able to drop the new engine in and hook her up... half a day's worth of work except the mech busted his finger (on someone elses boat)... Anyway, took pics of the engine bay and the outdrive awaiting the 6.2. I hope its ready tomorrow PM or the latest on Tuesday 3 July AM. I'm dieing to run this puppy... especially since we are flying out to Hawaii on Saturday and won't return till 22 July...http://www.curtisnjrotc.com/htdocs1/goaweighto/newboatrepair08597.JPG the outdrive looks brand new...http://www.curtisnjrotc.com/htdocs1/goaweighto/newboatrepair08597%20(1).JPG
Also got to see the name Mike did and it looks awesome. Will apply the name after I get her home... even though the Admiral wanted me to put it on while she was in the repair yard... so who's excited???
