Well, winter project #1 completed in under 3 hours start to finish. Go here for the run down by photo:
New Floor in the Cabin (http://www.curtisnjrotc.com/htdocs1/boatflr.htm)

After: http://www.curtisnjrotc.com/htdocs1/goaweighto/floorboat/flrfmcockpit.JPG

I used a Home Depot simulated wood product (Actually a linoleum that simulates wood)... Total cost was less than $50. And I have half a case of the flooring left over...

Looks good Doug. Probably a lot easier to keep clean than the carpet.

Was the hull level enough to go straight to the glass then?

Yes, the deck is pretty level. More so then the previous 2452. The hard part was grinding out the glass with my dremel under the edges for a cleaner, tighter fit.

I figure no more vacuum on the boat and just wipe and we're done...

Now for the next project... I think it will be a heater duct to the pax side of the cockpit... Looking for flexible 3" ducting to run to the front of the pax seat... Found something used in RV's at Sportsman's Warehouse, just need a black rotating and closeable diverter in case it gets too hot for the Admiral.
