:argh2 a keyless garage door opener from Chamberlain. I bought a screw type garage door opener from Costco about two years ago and recently got an email from them asking me to fill in an online questionaire about the product. I did and they entered me in for a drawing of a new Fingerprint Keyless Entry ($149)...
Wireless, battery-operated (includes four AAA batteries)
Equipped with Security+® rolling code technology - Entry pad transmits a new code with every use
Reads up to 4 unique fingerprints so only the 4 registered users can gain access to your garage
Weatherproof slide-up protective cover

Finger print, huh?
Big Brother is slowly nailing us down. ;>)
Looks like a nice unit there, Doug. You gonna keep it or sell it on E Bay?

Good question... Didn't think about selling it... just another toy on the garage... I already have a button code entry.. hmmmm...
If I could hook it into the boat somehow...

I can get you a receiver that would work with it. Then you can wire the coffee maker up or something.
Fingerprint technology is not as secure (in the residential class) as people think, so don't bury all your Gold behind the thing.
congrats though.

Come on Doug...Give some of us average (Bryan's) a chance. Good job man. Congrats. If you can send a little bit of Karma my way. Sounds like our annual Snake River trip is grenading on us.. Maybe we can make the big RAy/Bay/Max/ San Juan Cruise 08.

You know you'd be welcome! We have boats coming from as far as California... So, no excuse about the distance... ;}
If you think you want to come up, you are welcome to spend a night here at our home. Had GPS Powell do that last year and before when he headed to Vancouver Island...
We intend to head out and launch at Pt Townsend. For $35, you own a season pass and can keep your truck and trailer there as long as you like. Awesome launch ramp that is good at high or low tide, fresh water wash station after launch or recovery, gas station 100 ft away and on duty cops, West Marine 1/2 block away, etc.

Thanks for the offer Doug. I really appreciate it. I mentioned to the admiral last night that our Snake River Trip may be falling apart this year. This has always been our big trip for the year and we always look forward to it. If I have to tow 10 hours east or 7 hours north, I would choose the latter. We are having dinner this weekend with the other boating fam's that we vacation with. We will find out their plans.
I think that it would be a great opportunity to join you guys this summer and get some "local Knowledge". How can you pass up some of the best cruising grounds anywhere on the planet and from my judgement some of the best people on the planet. Short answer, you can't. I am excited to find a way to make this work. I am sure that it will be a huge positive and if I hit the lotto like I plan, I will need the experience for my much larger boat. Thanks again.

Coolio... 8)
I have one of those on my laptop. Only issue is when you have a finger injury that requires you to have a bandage or something. The PC makes you "register" more then just one finger just in case. ;)
