went to costco yesterday for a couple things for the house and the boat for the weekend....we stumbled into the summer toys section...(if you wanna call it that..)..but they had a row boat inflatable in a bag for 87 bucks...so we're gonna try it out and see how it works in blakely this weekend....should be fun...but for 87 bucks...it looks like it's built well enough to last a few yrs...and for what we want with it...why not...???
for you lake boaters though...they also also had this towing thingy that holds a couple of people for about a hundred bucks.....tow it behind the boat and watch em hang on for dear life as you make a turn.... ...yep..definitely for the young at heart on that one!!!....

When we purchased groceries and supplies for the weekend, I just happened to find the small Motorola hand-helds in the toys dept. I told the Admiral we needed them for a safety item on the boat, like when I'm pulling crab pots with the inflatable. Heck, for $60.00 she couldn't refuse. I agree about Costco, great place to spend money.

you can not beat the quality of the meat.
I bought dungness today, got three of them and they weighed in at 6.57#'s total...nice size... especially for $3.99/# too! Of course I "needed" two chase lounges, more of their costco 3# coffee, and the new run of rainer cherrys... Never go there hungry! My Executive club card pays for itself every year. And we only have two of us at home! Can't wait for the new Costco to go in down at Gig Harbor... 8) ouch!

If you go there a lot grab the American Express card and get back 2 cents on the dollar.....(2 cents puppy not 2 brain cells...)
and I don't remember who said it but its for sure hard to beat their meat!

Costco has a deal with American Express for a card with their
name on it .. yes you save the 2 cents
BUT
You DO NOT get credit on the AM EX Membership Rewards
Program, because it is a specialty card ..
I have the AM EX Corporate Card, and we thought of getting the
Costco AM EX, but when I called AM EX, they said that we would
not get any credit toward our Membership Rewards Program, and
that it cannot be linked to the program.
So .... we just use our American Express card, and we get all our
Rewards points .. 1 point for each dollar spent.
It's a rip off .. big deal, they say it includes the Costco Membership
Dues .. your paying for it, check it out.
With us, like Go Aweigh2452, our Executive Costco card pays for itself.

I wish they would take Visa, my AK Airlines visa gives 1 mile per dollar, coupled with the Safeway Club card, Miles for Groceries, Pay with a AK Air visa, put all my personal expenses including moorage, garbage, gas, Diesel, and all business expenses and it adds up to a free ticket anywhere about every 3 months--Life is good in the US of A!!
Be sure and thank those Vets on Memorial day, don't just make it another day to burn a weenie!
