Well..just got off the phone with the skinny pink chicken....!!....we talked for quite awhile about a bunch of stuff including his postponed visit......
I hope you guys will get to meet him later this summer.....a real charactor.......good talking to ya Al......later!! :argh arrr

Puppy Chow,

Nice talking with you on the phone last night. The wife and
I wish you well in the schooling you have coming up over
the next few weeks.

No problem with the postponement, your job comes before
goof off time, and there are other weekends .. :)

I really look forward to going out there to see the PNW, and
hopefully meet some of the other members. SS wrote in a
post, that a later visit would be better, because crabbing will
be going on and also the humpies will be running.

What is it like late September, early October out there ?

We get our most beautiful weather just as school starts. The pinks (humpies) hit the rivers first in August and "run" in mid-august through the first or so of September. The Silvers start showing up about the 2nd week of August and really start to fill the rivers in September. Our weather during that time of year is spectacular to be sure.
