We went to Friday harbor this weekend with a couple of friends from Wenatchee who had never been to the islands.
We where walking the docks in the evening, the girl with us was on a quest to get a picture of Popeye the seal, and she says "look there's a bear swimming over there!"
Look where's she pointing, and all you can see is this big black head and back swimming thought water! But wait a minute it seems to be retrieving a stick?
Yep-biggest Newfoundlander I've seen gets out of the water.
The owners are on the main dock next to the Seafood barge on a well-taken care of wooden boat. The dog is friendly as can be- so Bo can have a friend to visit when you make it up this year!
