Question about my Navman

Recently we installed SmartCraft and a Navman 5507 (Northstar now) Chart plotter.

The SmartCraft part really works great but I and some others too we think, have a problem and that's when we shut down the Chart plotter the data of the trip and total distance are gone. Engine hours and the fuel management keep their data correct. There is a special screen where you can delete trip and total distance. So they should be still there after shut down we think. contacted Northstar by e-mail but got no response yet. Any thoughts?

I hope we figured it out. will try it out asap. Probably it has to do with Nemea and Navbus.

The problem is to find out what is specic SmartCraft with Navbus or what's specific Navman Nemea software and input.

While I admit I don't know any specifics about the Navman, it seems to me that you shouldn't be losing that information. I was under the impression that the trip data was retained like the other data.
