Near as I can tell some of you are going to have a great time heading to Desolation....enjoy! ...and remember, no matter what comes your way "you be boatin!"
(If you stop in Vancouver be sure to provision up on Granville at the market...and have a donut for me at Roche....)
FYI...I get to spend yet another year not making a trip to D.S....someone actually bought Metanoia...I'm just waiting for the checks to clear and it will be moving to Alaska. I will be sure to introduce the new owner to both IBNW and BOC so be nice to him when he comes online.

Yes, Doug may be pre-funking and leaving today. We will be leaving tomorrow. Somewhere near Portland there is a 27' Searay probably just getting his morning coffee now. The "Gypsy" is coming from Sacremento to join us.
Two Others are leaving also about now to join us, one from Spokane and the other from Hermiston Oregon.
Here's the original thread if you want some readin how it all came about.(we started planning last year)

Todd, great news!!! I wish and hope for all of you a great and safe trip. You kids are living the dream. Have fun and take lots of pics.
I'm still a month away from our trip North. Have a great trip and watch for wood in the water. Most of you guys cruise faster than I do so you need to be extra careful the farther North you go.

I will be posting pictures of our trip to Desolation Sound at this site (http://gallery.me.com/stompor#100121).
Most will be from my iPhone, but some might be from a real camera.
