Can anyone recommend a particular brand of protectant to apply to a PVC inflatable? I want to put some type of wax/UV protectant on my new inflatable prior to our trip in the Gulf Islands?
When are you heading over Randy? It'd be nice to meet up with ya along the way if you wanted to take a quick rest break in Everett for a cup of coffee or something. Would be nice to put a name on a face. I'd love to see your boat too. I lot of your woodwork has given me ideas for the old Carver.

Mike--Providing one of our mutts is doing well, we plan on heading over the 24th or 25th. We'll sling in at Cap Sante and head towards Canada to clear customs at Sydney. Probably spend the first night at Sydney, then mosey on up to Genoa Bay Marina and other spots to Nanaimo. We do plan on returning on July 1 to do some crabbing. We'll be on the hook in Fisherman's Bay and plan to go over to Friday Harbor, anchor, and motor in to visit with the rowdy INBW'ers. Do you plan on being boatless in Friday Harbor?

Randy, this is what my dinghy supplier recommended.
Use "Super Tuff" to clean it. Here it is: http://www.aquamonster.com/doctorklear/super_tuff.tpl?cart=109631771110192
This not only cleans with the wipe of a sponge, it leaves a protectant behind which causes the water to bead up.
After it's dry, wipe everything down with 303 Aerospace Protectant. This will give excellent UV protection and is nowhere near as slippery as Armor-All.

What is 303 Aerospace Protectant? Where can I find it?

It is a 3M product that can be purchased at WM or BW. Ted

Oh yeah... I don't plan on buying anything (or even looking) until later in the year. If I plan on getting anything bigger than my last, it's gonna mean getting one of those J.O.B.'s eventually. :)
We're at the Inn for the weekend and will be on the docks as well (moochin' food) :D
