In the newest boating mag...they have this little booklet that they included in the ctr of the mag. about trailering and some nifty tips on how to trailer your boat and look like a pro.......if you get it....and trailer....you might wanna take a look at it.... :argh arrr

I don't think you need an article to look like a pro at the launch. You just need to be able to:
not know how to back up a trailer
yell really loud
forget to undo the tie downs (going in)
forget to install plug (going in)
yell louder
forget to raise the drive (going out)
forget to lower the antennea
get untrained dock walkers to "hold the rope" on a windy day
yell really loud
next month.."How to look like a pro when docking at a new marina"
and in the next issue "Scope is for losers! How to anchor like a pro!"

last weekend we were out....when we launched the boat at Dag's...there was a 23ftr that got put in the water and was taken out and sitting on the forklift...water was pouring out of the stern butt plug and the bilge pump was reaaaaaaalllly pumping alot of water out of the bilge....hmmmmm. :? ...wonder what he forgot :shock: :argh arrr

There are "alot" of know it alls out there, and they are funny
to watch at the ramps .. :shock:
They are Pros ok: "Professional Amatures" .. :roll:
