I have had a couple snaps, the male end pull out of the fibreglass.
Anyone have an easy fix for this?

You can buy screw in snaps to replace them. Just fill & re-drill the holes and re-bed new ones. Easy fix.

3M 5200 works well or better yet, a little fiberglass resin with some glass fibers in it. Wait for the fiberglass to get really thick so it does not drip out the back.
Simplest solution is a bigger screw embedded in 5200.

Epoxy in a sliver of wood and then insert a neww screw once set.

I think I'd use the Epoxy roll (http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/producte/10001/-1/10001/81629/377%20710/0/epoxy%20putty/Primary%20Search/mode%20matchallpartial/0/0?N=377%20710&Ne=0&Ntt=epoxy%20putty&Ntk=Primary%20Search&Ntx=mode%20matchallpartial&Nao=0&Ns=0&keyword=epoxy%20putty&isLTokenURL=true&storeNum=5000&subdeptNum=4&classNum=96), tape off the area, take a small piece of each of the two parts, knead as directed, cram it in the hole and follow it with the original screw.

That's an excellent idea. That stuff works GREAT too.
Cheaper at the hardware store though (JB Weld makes a version). I used some on my hot tub. Held pressure and heat for 3 years now.

Yeah, I think I may put a stick on board for whatever emergencies may come up, or for simple repairs like this.
Take pictures of the steps of your repairs so we can see how you did. I"m confident it will work, but some feedback would be good.

I have a package aboard. Haven't used it on the boat yet, but would be a great emergency repair. Just knead the two parts together and it sets rock hard in 15 minutes. It really is cool stuff. Sticks to parts and cures underwater too.
