Got a boat ride today during StormWatch '08

Had a nice ride aboard a Customer's New custom 85footer today. I had some custom lockwork to finish on this Super cool vessel. Anyway it was raining sideways during our brief run from one end of Lake Union to the other.

I don't care what the weather is like, it's always nice to be messing around on boats.

I'll bet it was miserable out in the cold on the bridge with no canvas or heat. Ted, he probably did you a favor by NOT dragging you out in that kind of weather. :roll:

So, did you have to make a common lock key for all 57 staterooms?

Did the owner give you a ride back to the place you started?

I wish I could say more.....but it was nice a toasty in the wheelhouse.
Yes it was a brief run, but still felt good to be on the water.

It was a skippered boat and the customer was not aboard.
The electronics at the helm was easily worth 3x my boat........

Well, the power went out a couple of hours ago then came back on. Decided to rid myself of teenage smells and took a shower. Half way through... bam... no power.... and I was half done shaving my head... Sad, sad sight I am right now!

So now we are running on the house generator and plugged in my princess phone so I can call or receive calls. Ma Bell did right by using the phone line as its power source... Well getting back to enjoying a little HBO.

I have a Mach 3 and the newest Mach and like the Mach 3 better. Too many blades on the newest razor...

As for Nair... tried that a couple of years ago... had some skin burn and my ears felt like they were on fire. No way I'll do that again...

Now I know how my buddy in college felt when we changed out the head and shoulders for nair...

Heading out to see 7 Brides for 7 Brothers at the 5th... with a clean shaven head and all... :cool:
