I really like this site. Especially if you have kids. Every year I watch NORAD track Santa on his travels around the world.

This is a big hit in our house today. Now, if only UPS, FEDEX, and USPS can make it today, too.

They never said on time.....just that they'll get there. I was expecting another gift for our neighbor Tues, and we haven't seen it yet. (FedEx)

Our US mail delivery never missed a beat, UPS however has provided an unforgivable service in my opinion. We tracked the package ( a new bike for our youngest grandaughter)
on the delivery truck Monday, no delivery (adverse weather was stated ), again it was on the truck Tues, no delivery- again adverse weather. Now the roads were fine by this time.
So now it is Wed the 24th , we track it, shows product was never loaded on the truck. We call the distribution center in Fife which is 15 minutes away. They tell s it will not be delivered today, WE say Lady, a truck just went by the house while we were waiting for a person to answer the phone. We say can we come down and get it, she says normally yes but for now it is locked up in a trailer. So unlock it, cannot do this, well then when will it be delivered, she does not know. Best she can offer is a email letting us know when the trailer will be unlocked, Pretty much at there discretion. Still waiting for the bike...........

I will avoid UPS like the plague in the future.

There was a funny interview with the Postmaster General a few days back where he felt compelled to set the record straight. The whole "Neither rain nor snow, nor sleet nor dark of night.." thing is a myth. It's not their motto nor their practice.

They explained it is a Greek quote of Homer. The architect that designed New York General Post Office included it in the artwork on the outside of the building, and even though unauthorized, it's become the public motto ever since.

He explained they try hard... but apologized. :D

Were still waiting for UPS to unlock the trailer............ unforgivable.
I could ride a bike to there distribution center, that is how good the roads are.

Both our mail and UPS made it on Christmas Eve. The weather was the pits and our roads here have had hard pack ice and snow for the whole time here.

Sorry to here the bikes didn't make it. :(

Reminds me about a comedian's joke.
He was pulling into a convenience store and the clerk was locking up. And the Guys says hey what are you doing I thought you were open 24 hours?......the clerk looked at him sideways and said:

....not in a row.;)
