Does anyone have a recommendation for a good prop shop in the Seattle-Everett area? My son has a 21' Tolly with twin Merc 50's. The props need to be rebuilt. Any suggestions?

yeah..the prop shop on mukilteo blvd...actually there are 2 different companies and I've had no problem with the one down by the phillie place.......others swear about the one further up by albertson's....so...take your pick....when I had my alpha 1 prop replaired ..they charged me only 60 bucks and it looked like it was brand new.....so...those are the two that I know of......hope it helps..... :argh arrr

Is that the shop owned by Gary Ives in Mukilteo? I've got a business card for him.

Use that link Bob posted. THE Prop Shop Inc. is the original and the one everyone raves about. They are the originals and have a customer base that is very loyal and a great reputation.
I've used both, and when they were 20 yards apart... it got pretty confusing.
They are still in the same location they have been for 21 years.
Great folks.

KUDOS to the Prop Shop in Mukilteo.
My son took his props to the shop last Friday. The fellow said they were junk and sold him two new ones that are 1/2" larger diameter and one degree pitch less. We took the boat out tonight on the Columbia and the engines ran perfectly. With the old props he couldn't get the same RPMs at WOT. Tonight they ran 400 RPM faster to 5,400 and were same RPM at WOT. He was very pleased with the performance. Thanks for the tips to go to someone who knows the product they sell.
