All I did was change my engine oils and take on my macerator and holding tank hoses and I look like the boat won.
I have bruises up and down my arms, my sides you name it. I stepped on something and bruised the bottom of my foot. I hurt.
I again invented a few new swear words this past weekend.
But , now I am ready to boat again- one small task left, the generator oil and zincs.
I got behind this year with everything else going on.
Now I know why it would be better to have this done in early spring, Time to heal. I would not want to take my shirt off on a hot day, somebody might think I was in a car wreck. :)

We don't heal like we used to either. :)
We get more and more thin-skinned... and we bruise quicker and heal slower... what bitch growing old huh?
:(
Oh well... that why they invented Ibuprofen :)

I feel for you! We worked on our little boat on Sunday and crawling through the engine compartment my back is killing me today!
My poor admiral is only a little thing and I'm forever asking her to crawl between the engines on our Bay to pick some up I dropped.
I told here men think it's sexy to see women with grease on them :D

I worked on my boat over this weekend too. I'm toll so it helps sometimes to reach things but not fun trying to get down there in 2355 engine compartment.
I was quite surprized how easy it was to take outdrive and exhaust manifolds off, nothing was frosen and all bolts are easily accessible. Even unbolting trim tab pump in far corner was not a problem at all. So I was able to do more then I expected.
And BTW, if you think it is bad to crawl in engine compartment try to do the same when there is oil all over it  That was SLIPPERY.

If you got that braket off the trim pump. Let me know if you want to build another from stainless steel. I always meant to do that on mine, but hated the idea of crawling back in there.
I know someone else that would likely enjoy having one to make a pattern for a replacement. Thats a REALLY poor choice of materials they used there. I haven't seen aBayliner yet that didn't have rust under that pump bracket. :)

Yes, I've got it off. Bottom part is really rusted - I knocked off the rust and painted it over. Was thinking about installing the same bracket back maybe building something so it would not sit in the water. Re-do it from other material should be easy task but I do not have any access to those materials. Any idea where I can get staliness steel or any other good metal for this thing? It does not carry any load.

I can build you one from stainless steel if you want to drop off the old one to make a template. I have all the equipment here.
My friend Bob (Webjammin) may be interested in one as well. Having a template would make manufacturing them pretty straightforward.
