SomeSailor told me that there is a website where I can get my prop dimentions from the number stamped on it. I know it is 15 inches but do not know if it is diameter or pitch.
Mike,
Can you post this website address here please?
Thanks,
Anton

I forgot about that.
Here's one: Prop Number Conversion (http://www.boat-props.com/match/match_mercury_props.html)
Use that to find the Michigan Wheel Part Number and then look at their data.

Thanks, it worked. My prop has 48 78116 A40 casted on it and according to the site it is 15-1/4" diameter, 15" pitch Obviously too small but I heard that if I want waterski with this boat I can go with smaller prop, just do not allow RPM to go to high.
I'll try something around 16X16 next to see how it works.

15.25x15 is what the boat came with (with the 5.7L motor). When he swapped the 5.0 out... he should have pitched the prop a bit higher. I had a 16x16 on mine and it worked fine. 16" is the largest diameter you can go on an alpha drive as well.
