I'm heading your way 19-21 March for a conference at the Wenatchee Conference Center. You want anything from this side of the Mts (boat parts, slamon, etc), let me know. I'll have room in my car. Don't think Lea will go with me... boring Career Tech Ed stuff. Arrive around 5PM on 19th and conference is over around noon on 21st... Been working with the state to accept JROTC as a viable elective under the CTE umbrella. Anyway, will be staying at the Wenatchee Coast Hotel...

I wish the local high schools offered JROTC. Great program and should definitely be counted as an elective.

Sounds good. Not sure right now where we will stay. The block of rooms filled and now cost more that twice as much. So will look for more affordable room. Even though the govt is paying, I dislike spending more than a reasonable fee.

This conference will allow schools easier access to get a JROTC since more than 3/4 of the salary will be paid for by the govt vice only half now... That should excite some schools...
