Mercury 7.5 HP includes 3 gal gas can.
I think that this is a 1980 and was last tuned up last year. Runs great.

Sorry forgot to add the price.
$600 for the outboard.

It is a standard length shaft.

It doesn't really matter to me, but you are high on your price for a 1980. Ted :D

Sorry Mark... I need a long shaft. Gene's got one for me he's tuning up and puttin' some high performance mods on now...

He's been watchin Monster Garage and we figure to go from 4HP to at least 4.22 at the shaft :D

I understand that a 4 and 5 are the same other than tuning..and a 6 and 8 are the same....and 9.9 and 15 are the same....so if we tune the 4 to the max we'll be able to get about 12 hp !!

I've just got to figure out how / when to get down there. I mentioned it to Bob and he said something about bugging you for a muffler job on the Ford. I laughed because I was thinking the same on our Jeep :)

We may be coming down in separate vehicles :)

That 4HP in naturally aspirated... what if we mounted a small squirrel cage fan near the throat? :)

I think a turbocharged 4 h.p. would be great. You'd be able to troll at 10 mph. :joker:

I really need something just to get me back to the bank. I trust this old Evinrude Electro-Shift about a s far as I can throw it. Only plan to use her in the river anyhow... so I just needed something to push me back to the trailer if it failed (only going upstream on the main too... ) :)

There is someone on Ebay that sells bilge blowers as superchargers for imports.....might actually work on a 4 hp.

I may run down that way and get that from ya Gene. I promised our dog's breeder we'd bring him by for a look and they're down in Winlock.

I remember Hot Rod magazine one time built a dragster that used a compressed air tank as a supercharger. It had a clutched compressor on the engine that you'd lock out before a run.

I'm thinking 12V muffin fan. :)

Well how about $525 for the outboard? I will look at all offers.
