Doug, I know you have an oldy and I am sure others do as well. I would love to see some pics of IBNW'ers other passions. My goal last fathers day was to get all three fired up and take them all for a drive. Here is my pic. Hope others will share.
p.s. how do you guys post a pic not a thumbnail?

Atta boy. Nice pics.
Thanks, your rides are nice too. Is that a 51 Chevy or earlier? I noticed the split windshield which went away after 52...

I built it from scratch. It was a bone stock truck with no engine when I got it 6 years ago. Did the SAS, doublers and 63s and it only went downhill from there ;) Heck, I built most of it with an ARC welder before I got my MIG!
Early days just after the first mods.

The last pic in the first post is how it is now but a little more banged up. We're headed back to Moab for Easter Jeep Safari week for Easter this year.

But now I've got the boat and I won't do nearly as much wheeling as I used to.

Not restored, only repaired as needed - 1964 Mercury Comet.
I used to 4-wheel too, but there are many more uncharted miles to discover on the water.
I have a 1964 ½ Mustang coupe and a mint 1989 Mustang which runs mid 11 seconds. I will have to post some photos soon.

Well, yesterday I found the "old car" that I have been looking for. It may not be a top seller at Barrett Jackson but I have been looking hard for this truck for a long time. I keep an eye on craigslist weekly and check from Seattle to L.A. and have found a couple of big dollar trucks in the last couple of years but just could not justify the $.
Short history. I bought my grandfathers 1970 Ford f250 when I was in high school and that is the vehicle that I had through college and the truck that I courted the admiral in. Everyone has that special rig and that was it for me. I sold the truck in 82' because gas was so darned expensive (80cents/gal). I just could not afford it. Well 25 years later I find a sweet 69'f100 that is in great condition and I grab it. I love the truck but it just was not the same. I've spent the last few years keeping an eye out but never found the right balance of cost and condition. Yesterday, I grabbed a cup of coffee and took the long way to work and took a road I had not been on for years. There it was.....I had to stop....Turns out the owner had to be in Texas next week for a job and I got my dream ride for a song. Yeah I know it takes away some boat bucks but we'll just have to go earn some more. Its christmas around here today.

Nice ride Bryan... I got rid of a 53, 54, 55 F100's a few years ago because my son did not want to help me restore them... One project was to cut the 54 cab and add to the 55 cab for a jump seat...
Anyway, glad you took the road less traveled!

Well I suppose someday the kids will have to figure out what to do with dad's stuff. But for now.....I like "stuff".
