Starting today (April 10), they are selling off everything...

Yeah... heard that yesterday morning. That's a real bummer. I really like our neighborhood Joes. They've always been great.

That really sucks! I like Joes since they sell a diverse selection of products.
I am going to head up to the Lake Stevens store tomorrow to check out the sales.

They have a pretty good selection of Meguiar's products. If they go on clearance, it may be a good time to stock up. I like the Lake Stevens one as well. It's too bad.

You might want to check out Boaters World for Meguires products. I found that the cleaning and waxing products at the Boaters World liquidation are selling at good prices. They have the stuff discounted at 20%. After the discount, the prices are cheaper than West Marine, Harbor Marine, and Joes.

Yeah, I haven't been in BW for a week and nothing seemed like a deal. Maybe if they've increased the discount to 20% now, I'll have another look. I may hold out and see when 30% comes around.

They have their cleaning supplies discounted at 20%. I picked up a gallon of Spray 9 for a little over 17 bucks and a couple 16 oz bottles of 303 for 11.95. Spray Nine is getting hard to find since Walmart doesn't stock the stuff anymore, and 303 is hard to beat at that price.

Careful at Joe's. As is true with most liquidations, "regular" price will be inflated (eventually) then discounts posted. Also, all sales starting today are "final." No returns, exchanges, credits, refunds, etc for any reason.

Sign in the window says 20-50% on everything now (except electronics)...

The electronics are 10% off. But, the electronics were so over priced at BW in the first place, that 10% off is still too expensive.
Also, the only stuff at 50% off were Boaters World branded clothing.

A great portland icon will be gone. I remember as a kid my grandparents taking me to the original surplus store on N. Portland. What a cool place it was. I'll miss the store but it hasn't been the same store for many years. Going the pc route a couple of years ago and eliminating the GI part of the name spelled doom for a lot of their loyal following. It's a bummer to see it go. Joes and BW gone in the same year is a big bummer.

Not that it really makes that much of a difference, But I was in the Burlington BW last night and all their electronics and outboards are now 15% off.
Still expensive but thought I would let you all know.

Good to know.
When I was in the Bellevue store a couple of days ago, an employee said that they plan to stay open until June. So, next month is when you should see the better deals.

Just stopped by the Lk Stevens store.
The place is a mad house! News people, lots of shelves getting empty!
Their pricing - not that great most everythinf 10-20% off, 0 off on guns and ammo, 10% off oils and chems.
Looked that the 15w40 Delo (sold out) 13.99 bucks a gallon less 10% =12.59 heck you can buy it at Costco fo about 10 bucks a gallon.
They do have 1 5gal 15w40 pale if it last untill we see 20% them I might bite.
IMO take your time no real deals yet! Much like BW.

I was there last Wednesday and bought three gallon jugs of Delo 30 weight at $11.99 a gallon plus some more lures and got my daughter new license. I am going to miss them. They are handy and normally had what I was looking for.

I went by and got a couple of K&N filters at 20% off and 10 oil filters for my truck for 20% off as well.
All auto parts and accessories are 20% off, but most everything is just 10%.

I hit the Joes up in Lake Stevens Saturday. The place was packed! People actually think 10% off is a good deal. 10% is just saving you tax on an item. I didn't see anything worth saving 10% on, that I could not find cheaper at Fred Meyer.

Yep. The filters were a good deal though. I paid less than $4 each after tax.

Good ya got a deal Mike, I checked on a air filter for my truck today, they wanted 50 bucks and it was not a K&N, it was purolator brand or something like that. I went down to Williams filters in Tacoma and got it for 28 bucks.
I did buy some more McGuires wax and cleaner though while at joes, I need it this week and figure 10% is at least a tax savings. Went by BW but they were not open at 9:30 so it will have to wait.

Hey Brad, you following me??? First Griots now Williams???
I buy all my truck oil and filters from Williams. In fact, I just used my last fuel filter yesterday trying to get my truck running again. Didn't work and Bethel towing is taking it to Parr Ford as I type this. They did recall work on 31 Mar. Just hope it is related to that...
