We gave it our best shot but came up empty along with about 70 other boats. Too many nets on Thursday and again yesterday !

It's always a blast riding on that beast of yours.

I tell ya guys, if you ever want to ride on a nice fishin' boat... bum a ride with Spud.

That is THE Fastest Bayliner I've ever seen (65+) and with the autopilot and twin kickers that boat trolls like its running a rail.

I caught the only fish of the day... but threw him back out of respect.... (didn't waan askunk the skipper) :D

Thanks again Nelson!

what is the "bubble"?

"Bubble" fisheries are special areas that are set aside as specialty fishing areas that operate as "bubbles" inside the normal marine areas. The most notable is the one at the Tulalip res.

The Native Americans have a state subsidized King and Silver hatchery that, as part of the agreement, sports fisherman can fish as well. Normally you can't take Kings in most areas of the Sound. They net it to get theirs, but there are a few big ones caught by us "sporties" out there.

I'm thinkin' Spud doesn't wanna run it any faster. We passed a 2859 like he was sitting still out there. Gotta admit though, he doesn't do a lot of talking at that speed. :)

I know it'll do 40 dragging two kickers :D

Well I left Edmonds at 11:30AM @ 26mph, he left Everett at 12:30PM @ 40mph+, I barely beat him in the harbor, but I was ahead of him! Ted

I must admit..........you really have to focus what's in front of you at
50 plus. I really try to keep it to a 40 cruise.......but its tough sometimes :P

Can't wait till the humpies are in ! :D

Ted, Mikes fish was bigger than the one Kathy caught !!!

Now Spud don't be knocking Kathy's fish, she caught it without downriggers and fancy electronics to see it was there to catch!

Yup, but Kathy was using nice mahi sashimi as bait ! Beats herring anyday ! :D
