That is awesome. If they weren't so pricy, I would pick one up for my FILs sailboat. He has his boat majorly tricked out and this would nicely compliment it.

Reminds me of when I has younger and foolish. I rigged up a separate window washer system in my car. But the sprayer was not on the window and it did not contain window washer fluid.

I did the exact same thing in my 74 VW Bug as a kid. My Dad and I spent hours rigging it up...it was awesome! Beer in one and Vodka in the second coming right out of the dash controled by the same button as the washer fluid. Good stuff. I guess I wasent as original as I thought I was! :argh2

Yup. It was his idea. He did the same in one of his cars as a kid....not sure he knew how much use it would get...but ya, he helped me. My Dad was cool in all the right ways...he let me do stuff like that but also did a good job keeping me in line. Youve got to remember, we lived on a small island so the level of trouble you can get into is so much less than on the mainland.

Oh yeah... I can see how a vodka tap on the dash would've been much safer on an island.

There are many reasons I drove the only bright yellow 74 VW Bug on the island with racing strips...he wanted everyone to see me coming and get out of the way! Not to mention - top speed limit on the island is 45, not like 70 on I5 here on the mainland. Plus he was well known and had everyone looking out for me, I did nothing he didnt know about almost before I was done doing it. I got away with nothing - I just cried my way out of getting punished for it! :argh2

I dunno... I never plumbed 80 proof for my daughter, and I'd guess she'd say she was plenty spoiled. :)

Thats a cool device. The old 77 Victoria that I have sitting behind the house had two hand pump sink faucets added to it, one on either side of the main pressure faucet. One was labeled Vodka and the other labeled Whisky. I looked under the cabinet and, sure enough, there were two big one gallon bottles. One was a giant Shmirnoff bottle and the other was Seagrams 7. They had a hole drilled in the lid and a hose glued in it. Someone had gone to a lot of work to make that happen years ago!

I've always found it easier mixing drinks at 45 rather than 70 myself too.
