Finaly we got our first official Heat wave!
The standard overhere is 5 continuing days with temps above 25 degrees celsius and 3 days must have 30 degrees! Yesterday it was a fact! :) Very early in the season according to the experts!
I wonder what your standard is for a heat wave if you have any up there. :)

Hi Roel, no such problem here(Victoria,B.C.), its been unusually cool and very windy all spring. We had a couple of good days in May but otherwise its has been lousy, our hot summer weather has not set in yet. We have already lost more boating days this year than all of last year. Our problem is the westerly`s and when they blow hard its extremely difficult to get out of our marina on the plus side the tall ships are in town and it is something to see. The Russian ship Polada is incredible, so huge it had to wait for high tide to get into the inner harbour. We are going to see all the ships tomorrow, 23 in total and they will be having a mock battle on the waterfront in the afternoon so should be cool. I`ll take some pics and try to post them here for all to see.

Normaly our weather is the same. Even a couple of weeks ago I posted that we had the worse beginning of summer of the last decade.
Very nice to see the old Ships. Like to see the pictures. We will have Sail Amsterdam within a few weeks over here. Probably a lot of the same tall ships come to us too. Have a nice time!
