Sad post at BOC

For those who aren't frequently visiting the BOC website and the Dockwalk,
there is the sad news that John L's daughter Laurie has passed away.
She finally lost the battle against cancer.

A lot of us who knew and read the post, already paid their respect and condoleances.
this really is very very sad.

Yes, it is a very sad one. It's hard to imagine what he's going through. From the emails I've exchanged with him over the last year or so it seems it was long battle with a pretty certain outcome. I hope they had the time they needed to say the things they needed to say and find some peace.

It's certainly not something any parent ever wants to experience.
