As a former WDFW enforcement officer, I mourn the cold-blooded murder of Seattle Police officer, Timothy Brenton. The perp(s) will be caught and should be charged with aggravated, first degree murder. That way when convicted, the bastardo(s) can get the needle. The officer leaves a wife and two small children.

While attending the Wash State Criminal Justice basic law enforcement academy (2001), we were told that on any given day if some scum bag wants to murder an officer, it will happen. The instructors told us to always be alert and aware, carry a weapon while off duty, don't drive the same route home every night, and guard your privacy.

Yeah... this is a true assassination too. They drove up and opened fire. It looks premeditated but random. Probably up and coming gang bangers.

I hope once they find them... the punks give some Officer an excuse to pop them on the spot.

I agree wholeheartedly Randy and Mike. Kill the S.O.B. who pulled the trigger and anyone else who was associated with this heinous crime.

My thoughts and prayers are with this officers family.

Turns out he lived near me and his kids went to my kids school. Mo told me this last night. Our company does a lot of work for the SPD and SFD. It's a close knit brotherhood that I have experienced first hand. The brotherhood rivals any team sport I've played on. Other than family there is nothing closer. It's tragic for sure. It evokes a visceral reaction for revenge and justice.

Mo and I will extend a offer of support to his widow and kids when the dust settles from this.

I was saddened to hear that the Pierce County Deputy was removed from life support. Prayers to his family. Six police officers murdered in the last 2 months is tragic. There are many crazies and others who do not value life out there.

I was just thinking about when I'd be raising my flag again to full-staff, but I'm guessing that won't be for awhile. What a tragedy.
