View Full Version : I need a new toy
Anyone have any input on an underwater video camera. There are
a few out there. I want to hang it off my downrigger cable while fishing.
I am not much into pixels, contrast and brightness so any input on the subject would be great.

go to overtons.com ...they have some systems in the box that you can toss overboard and see the little fishies for a few hundred bucks.....kinda cool....I was thinking of getting one to see where my keys went last time

My buddy got one and got bored watching the salmon bite and instead finds it more enjoyable watching the crabs find the entrance to the crab trap. He says its comical how dim witted they are , sometimes putting in a great amount of effort to locate the access to the bait. 8)

Why you guys go through all this trouble? Buy your self a nice tank of glass, put the fishies in and voila! Poachers! Add a microphone and a marine speaker and you can talk to them and ask what bait they like! :D
Roel.......your too funny......
The price ranges between 300 to 1200 with a TV. Just wondering if they will work. Beyond kelp.......what kind of unit does your buddy have and how far down can it see. If I troll at 50 feet and the camera is 20 feet away from my flasher......can I see the fish at the flasher ?
Thanks for any input.....!!!!! I am on a mission !

I've seen them for sale. Look like a cool toy. I wonder if the fish would care?
