Okay. After all the planning, dreaming, & waiting, July is nearly here. Myself & two friends (a fireman & a BLM officer) will leave for Neah Bay (from Denver) on the 23rd hoping to arrive by the 25th for 12 days of salmon & etc. Some time back you (Doug) said you might be up there around this time and Some Sailor might come along. How about it? We flew up in May and chartered for Canadian Halibut to get a feel for the area, now we're ready to do the real deal in my 2052 Trophy. Buddy boating is surely better than going out alone. :D

Sounds great to me. You're trailering over aren't you? We'll have to figure out your exact route and hook up with you along the way. Are you coming up through Salt Lake City and then across?
By the last weeks of July, the Pinks will start arriving in real numbers, followed by the Silvers. I would probably fish my way over from this side and then when you find the wave of fish, start following them in. :)
12 days should be a LOT of fish. You have plans for freezing them and shipping them home or something?
Sounds like a great fishing trip you have planned.

Great!! We will be staying in the RV park at the Cape Motel in a white "Northland" pickup camper (I'll have it off the truck while there). My boat will be moored at the dock. It's a white 2052 Trophy with a radar arch and "www.GPSPOWELL.info" stenciled across the transom. I look forward to meeting you two.

I'll plan a run up on 1 Aug or 2 Aug the latest. I will be staying on my 2452 Go Aweigh. See you then...

I'd promise not to catch all the fish this time
that'll cost you $$$ this time... :argh
PS: You did not catch all the fish last time, I seem to recall I did catch but did not get to net it...
As long as you don't place the coffee on the countertop so it flies all over the cabin... I'm surprised Lea did not say anything to you at FH...

I got on her good side quickly with the Danny Couch stickers :)
Tell her to email me when she figures out what she wants to do with those.
If you have room for an extra fishing pole and a sleeping bag, just lemme know when / where. I'll have to bring a Scotty with me though. :)

what, you don't like using the busted cannon? I'll drop a mounting plate on that side and a power receiver too. As long as I find the time before we head up.

I can send a mount to ya if you want? You can never have too many on the back. We have the same downriggers. I have a brand new Scotty power jack sitting here in the package as well.

gps, any way we (ss and me) can get to know who you are? no name, no way of emailing you?
My cell is listed in the "names address and phone #" area however, cell coverage is less than spotty at Neah. I would suggest if you or your buddies decide to call home that you do so before you leave Port Angeles. After that it is not good at all until you are on the water and close to the Canadian side.
I gotta get some sleep. gettin up early am to make a 6AM flt...

Sorry about that. I guess I should fill in my profile a bit better. The name is Mike and you can email me at "mike@gpspowell.info". My cell worked pretty well at Neah Bay in May. Email me & I'll give you the number also we can talk.

I don't know what happened to the email address above. The server spelled out "AT" instead of printing the ampersand. Anyway, if you have trouble making it work just go to my website & hit "webmaster". See you in Neah Bay.
