It will be great to see the Queen fly again!
Are they going to Web cast the first flight?
Have you noticed a lot of talk at Boeing latley about a replacment for the 757. With the 87-3 scraped and a new team on the 37, 77 might see a carbon hull single isle sooner then later?

Thanks for the video. That is just crazy big. How does it compare to other Boeing planes in size?

Great looking plane Bob! Not a wussy little plastic snap together for sure. That's pure bad-ass there! Love the sound of those big ole motors. I tell ya... four of those GenX-2B motors sure sound better than the 787. :)

Thanks for posting those I can't wait to watch tomorrow.

Scott

This is Boeings biggest plane, We just finised 3 + years of modifying and retooling for this plane. it is 13 feet longer in the fuselage and the wings are now approx 10 feet longer.
New Engines and various other upgrades.

This is the freighter variant the passenger version which will have a stretched upper deck going back aft to the wing leading edge, and it is still in work and has not rolled out yet.

Yeah a little anti-climactic but it's great she lifted off so nicely and the new program is born. Congrats!

It's a good looking bird for sure.

I gotta tell you what wonderful thing happened to me today!! I was driving back from an appointment on Camano Island and heading to the office on Cyrus Way. As I got close to the Everett plant i saw a whole lotta people on the side of the road looking into the sky. Well at that moment (thanks to Bob) I knew what they must be looking at. But as I drove further I couldn't see a thing until...........I was dead center of the runway while that big bird took off right over my Durango. Damn talk about being in the right place at the right time. I couldn't plan that if you paid me large sums of money, but I did it blindly for free. I must tell you that I had triple layer goosebumps when I realized what just happened to/for me!!!!!!!!!!
